Whether you wear a backwards ball-cap, a skull cap, or no cap... We all start from Aleph at some point. Olami House at Midreshet Ziv is designed to empower all types of Jews to connect more deeply to their spiritual self, no prerequisites or religious observance is required

Connection, Ulpan, Community, Housing & Food

Participants who attend programming can receive a Housing subsidy as well as breakfast and dinner in the Midreshet Ziv dining hall. Twice per month participants can partake in Shabbat Meals in Midreshet Ziv.

Olami House is located in Sharei Chesed, Jerusalem – an unbelievable location which is a short walk to several major public transportation hubs while being conveniently located near the Kotel, shuk, gan sacher, and central Jerusalem.

Comfortable Housing & Great Meals

Become part of a special and tight community of Israeli and English-speaking young professionals who are all exploring deeper parts of life together.

Social programming such as late night chills, trips, and Shabbatons help build special bonds in our tight-knit community.

Be set up with Israeli and English-Speaking families in the Sharei Chesed neighborhood during Shabbat and on other occasions

Community is key for Stability and Growth

Olami House @ Midreshet Ziv allows participants to explore spirituality through Jewish learning in the plush Beit Midrash of Midreshet Ziv throughout the day.

Teachers are available for one-on-one meetings and life/professional mentors are given to all participants.

Beginner & Advanced Ulpan classes and practicums include connecting with a designated Israeli student in the Israeli version of the Olami House (called Midreshet Ziv) via a unique weekly social program.
